Qatar Airways changing to a lower fare within the same cabin is not permitted. It is prohibited even if the route or fare conditions change.

What Is System Date Range Limitation Of Qatar Airways?

If you have kept your ticket open, you can rebook it within 360 days from the ticket issuance date. If Qatar change return flight date falls beyond this range, then some terms and conditions may apply.

However, different Global Distribution Systems may have slightly different booking limits, such as:

• The first change for the inbound flight may be allowed free of charge, regardless of standard fare rules.

• If the original booking class (RBD) is not available, you can change the reservation under standard voluntary change rules. In such cases, you will have to pay any applicable fare difference, taxes, fees, and surcharges based on the new travel date mentioned in the endorsement or restriction field. Also, in specific situations, the service or ticketing fee (also known as the OB fee) may be waived.
• If the original booking class is unavailable, you can rebook under standard voluntary change rules by paying the fare difference. However, for regular Qatar Airways flight date change, rebooking penalties and service fees are generally not waived.
